Leadership Development - Practices of Exemplary Leaders

We believe leadership is about getting results through people, it is about the power of influencing others. As a foundation it requires leading yourself and raising your self awareness.

Great leaders discover those things that we all share within a team or organisation and then mobilises them towards personal and organisational success.

In this program we focus on best leadership practices such as being a role model, to envision and engage, build trust and facilitate relationships, search for opportunities to improve, acknowledge and recognition.

Managers

A manager’s role may be the most complicated and the most important in any organisation.

A manager is responsible for their own performance, the performance of each team member, the collective performance of the team, and the execution of the company’s strategy, financial targets, mission and values.

Our goal is to support managers:

– Aim their talents squarely at performance

– Explore their management style

– Gain an understanding of the team member’s talents and strengths

Becoming an effective coach is the most important skill any manager can develop.

Team coaching - strengths based teams

The purpose of team coaching is to support the manager to start a workgroup on a journey to becoming strengths based.

The team’s ability to achieve excellence and get the most of out of each team member’s natural talents is connected to the extent to which the team understands, appreciates, and starts to use this information in a meaningful way.

Once the team understands to leverage each other’s strengths, team members quickly find ways to work together and improve performance. The team gains most by regularly discussing each other’s strengths in the context of the team and its current goals.

Our goal is to support the teams explore its DNA (its unique combination of talents and strengths), how to purposefully use them, and how to work around or overcome areas they may be lacking.

The best partnership occurs when you and someone who has strengths that complement yours join forces and focus on a single goal. Your strengths cancel your partners weakness and vice versa. You accomplish together what could not be done separately.

Change Management - Onboarding

Managers and leaders experience many changes in their career and the higher the responsibility the more critical it is to manage the change – these include new roles, locations, departments, and sometimes a combination of the above.

The first 100 days of these changes are the most critical and that is why an onboarding program has proven to be so effective in the success of the leader and the company.

Experience and research shows that 1 in 4 members of the team do not work to their strengths and that leaders have over a 50% chance of failure in their first 18 months of transition.

We support managers and leader follow specific actions that when followed sequentially over a 3 months period increases their productivity and performance producing faster results and higher engagement for themselves and their teams.

Taymour Miri

Taymour Miri is the Managing Director of MTMi Limited since 2015.

He has over thirty years experience in coaching and leadership positions. This includes seventeen years experience in a global Oil and Gas Company working in South America, Europe, Middle East and Asia. The last twelve years experience is as a business owner working with senior executives and leadership teams primarily in EMEA region to enhance personal and team effectiveness.

Taymour is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) with ICF and a Gallup certified strengths coach. He is the proprietor of the highest ICF accredited coach specific training program.
